Cross-filtering for metrics should also select the axis label as the filter value

What is the problem or goal the end user is trying to solve or accomplish?

For example, if there is no dimension but only metric in the Bar Chart, the cross-filtering will not work as expected. Selecting the bar should take the axis label as the filter value.

How are they solving it currently?

Not possible at the moment.

What is the recommended solution by the Customer?

Enable the bar selection for cross-filtering to choose the axis label when possible.
