Emit cross filters from a calendar heatmap

What is the problem or goal the end user is trying to solve or accomplish?

Users would like to use a calendar heatmap to emit cross filters to other charts present in a dashboard.

How are they solving it currently?

Currently not possible -- a time range filter or another chart needs to be used.

What is the recommended solution by the Customer?

Provide the ability to emit cross-filters from a calendar heatmap.
