Tooltip and error messaging often too technical and unhelpful. Error messages should explain what went wrong (in non-technical language) and how the user should proceed.

What is the problem or goal the end user is trying to solve or accomplish? How are they solving it currently? What is the recommended solution by the Customer?

when configuring filters for a dashboard, we get the column names instead of the verbose (label) names for the fields. It is not interesting for our users to know these column names and we unify the metrics actually by the verbose name.

When downloading to an excel chart, it would be nice to remove the rown numbers from also being exported.

In other viz platforms, you are able to hover your cursor over a particular word to see it's metric value. It's particularly useful on this chart type for users to see what value is driving the size of the words without having to 'View as table'.

It would be nice to have a way to test the alerts set up to confirm they're going to the right email or slack channel. This would help to confirm the connection to desired Slack channels or emails and also allow the end user to view what the alert...

The ability to be able to have better colour control across dashboards. Currently the colours are completely random across dasboards. I should be able to colour each metric independently if I want to.

Please include the dataset ID column on the Datasets page and the chart ID column on the Charts page. It is very non-user-friendly to find these IDs and they are needed for macros or CSS.

Problem: Creating datasets requires a much more advanced set of skills and a deeper understanding of the data than just building charts and dashboards off of approved data sets does. In Preset you either are a “viewer” and can’t create anything OR...
