Access to granular usage metrics for external monitoring tools

What is the problem or goal you're trying to solve or accomplish?

Customers want to ingest Preset usage metrics into external monitoring tools like Datadog to build dashboards tracking user activity — things like who accessed which dashboard, how often, and query activity.

How are you solving it currently?

The Audit Log API covers some high-level events, but granular query activity is not exposed. Customers have no way to get this data programmatically today.

What is your recommended solution?

Expand the Audit Log API (or introduce a new usage metrics endpoint) to include more granular activity data — dashboard views with frequency, query executions, and user-level activity — so customers can pipe this into their own monitoring stack.
