Add “Specific Day / Single Date” mode to the Date filter (one-click single-date selection + Apply)

What is the problem or goal you're trying to solve or accomplish?

End users want to filter dashboards for exactly one calendar day in a simple, intuitive way: pick a date → click Apply → see data for that day.

Today, many users misunderstand the current Start (inclusive) / End (exclusive) range behavior, select a single date incorrectly, and end up with no data, leading to frequent support calls and frustration.

How are you solving it currently?

Using the single value dashboard filter type. Nevertheless this workaround asks you to create one value filter per chart if each chart uses different date columns.

What is your recommended solution?

Add a dedicated mode/tab in the date picker called “Specific Day” (or “Single Date”)
