What is the problem or goal the end user is trying to solve or accomplish?
Users are not aware that additional filters exist when they are hidden under the “More Filters” menu. This is especially confusing because the number next to “More Filters” indicates applied filters, not the number of available filters, so it can display “0” even when unused filters are present.
How are they solving it currently?
Currently, users must manually click the “More Filters” menu to discover additional filters. There is no visual indication that more filters are available unless they are actively applied.
What is the recommended solution by the Customer?
Improve the “More Filters” UX so that it indicates when additional filters are available, regardless of whether they are applied. Possible solutions:
Show a count of available filters instead of (or in addition to) applied filters.
Make the “More Filters” button visually distinct when unused filters are present.
Automatically fit more filters on the main bar when there is enough screen space.
Part of the issue is that sometimes filters get stuck into 'More Filters' menu, even when there is still available white space to fit more filters in the main panel. Thanks
