Pie Chart Total changes as selected items on legend change

What is the problem or goal the end user is trying to solve or accomplish?

Pie Chart total remains the same when user de-select item on the legend.

The percent calculation however, does change accordingly.

How are they solving it currently?

User has to use filter to have the total reflected

What is the recommended solution by the Customer?

Have the total changes similar to percentage calculation
