What is the problem or goal you're trying to solve or accomplish?
Users without chart save permissions can see and click the Save button in the chart editor. This leads to a confusing experience where they attempt to save and receive a permission error, rather than being informed upfront that the action is unavailable to them.
How are you solving it currently?
There is no workaround — users encounter the error message after clicking Save and need to contact their admin to understand why they can't save.
What is your recommended solution?
Hide or disable the Save button for users who lack the necessary permissions to save charts. If disabled, a tooltip explaining the reason (e.g., "You don't have permission to save charts") would improve clarity further.
