What is the problem or goal the end user is trying to solve or accomplish?
The current permalink logic ties the URL to a fixed chart ID, which means that once a new chart version is created and the slug is transferred, previously generated permalinks still point to the old version, not the updated one.
How are they solving it currently?
Not possible due to the current functionality of the permalink. Admins/ users would have to share a new permalink of the chart when a new update is made to it.
What is the recommended solution by the Customer?
Allow permalinks to resolve to the current charts associated with the slug value instead of the fixed charts ID.
Why this is important: There are places/documentation outside of Preset where we might link to a specific chart so don’t want to have to update those share links in external systems every time we update a chart. permalink / shares should only reflect the most recent version of a chart, not the chart’s state at the time the link was shared.
