"x days/minutes prior to Now" as option for custom date range

What is the problem or goal the end user is trying to solve or accomplish?

Our data lags ~24 hrs so when using "Now" + date range comparisons, it looks like current day is artificially low and it's just a matter that we don't have the data yet. It's clear that that's why numbers are low when you are using a daily grain, but any aggregates up (weekly, monthly etc.) it's not as clear and looks like a current week/month is way off target. Although the end date is exclusive (i.e. current date isn't included), there are still a few hours of the prior day where data isn't present.

What is the recommended solution by the Customer?

Provide flexibility to have a rolling function based off of "Now" for a dynamic end date.
