What is the problem or goal the end user is trying to solve or accomplish?
The customer wants to clearly display data labels on mixed charts (e.g., bar/line charts) without the labels overlapping each other. This is especially important when they are screenshotting charts for sharing, where hovering to view details is not an option.
How are they solving it currently?
Currently, there is no built-in functionality to customize the position of data labels on charts in Preset. As a result, labels often overlap, which makes it difficult to read or present the chart clearly. The customer has no way to reposition the labels (e.g., move them slightly below/above a line or bar) to prevent this issue.
What is the recommended solution by the Customer?
The customer suggests introducing a feature that allows users to customize the position of data labels on charts. This could include:
Drag-and-drop functionality to manually adjust label positions.
Predefined options for label placement, such as positioning them above, below, or beside bars/lines.
This functionality would improve the chart's readability and visual clarity, especially when exporting or sharing static charts.
