Ability to set up filters on Alerts and Reports Merged

What is the problem or goal the end user is trying to solve or accomplish?

Users want to be able to set filters configuration to Alerts & Reports, so that they can be used to share filtered data. For example, a user may have one dashboard and they want to send a report to 2 separate slack channels with filtered info for different states.

How are they solving it currently?

This is currently not possible - users would need to keep one asset per "desired view".

What is the recommended solution by the Customer?

Provide the ability to specify filters when configuring an alert/report.
