Continuous Line chart when there are missing data points and there are more than one dimensions

What is the problem or goal the end user is trying to solve or accomplish?

Cumulative Sum for Line chart will be disconnected when there are missing data point(s) and there are more than one dimensions

No possible workaround

What is the recommended solution by the Customer?

Cumulative Sum for Line chart to be continuous. User is proposing for it to be flat line by taking the previous value. But we can also provide option to either take previous data point value or coalesce the missing data points with 0
