Legend Edit Capability (Long Metrics)

What is the problem or goal the end user is trying to solve or accomplish?

The customer would like to be able to control the formatting of metric names in a legend. When the metric name is too long, the legend cuts off key pieces of the metric and so the viewer is not able to understand what the description is. The edit feature for metric names does not work as the entire metric with source is what the customer needs to be able to see.

For example: income_from_source - segment_x and since it is not a short name, not all of it will be visible and we'll see - income_from_sour...

If they have multiple sources and segments, this alignment is what the customer wants to be able to see in the legend.

How are they solving it currently?

What is the recommended solution by the Customer?

Ability to modify legend character lengths and formatting at a more granular level.
