Rethink SQL Lab role in information architecture

Currently, Preset's information architecture is entity-drive (charts, dashboards, databases, queries, etc.), with one exception – SQL Lab. SQL functionality is a tool to help users create these entities, but may not make sense as its own section in the main navigation.

Users in interviews have also indicated they were unsure of the purpose of SQL Lab, which hinders a clean workflow and path through the application.

Opportunity exists to more closely integrate SQL tools within the primary workflow instead of making SQL Lab its own entity. See discussion here.
